The Witcher is computer role-playing game for the PC developed by Projekt RED STUDIO. Based on the book series of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the game uses BioWare's proprietary Aurora Engine. It has been relsed in Europe on October 26, 2007 and in the US on October 30, 2007.
The Witcher follows the story of Geralt, a man who becomes a "witcher" — a traveling monster hunter for hire gifted with unnatural powers. Taking place in a medieval world, the game implements detailed visuals. The natural light during various phases of the day is rlistically altered, and the day and night transitions serve to enrich the game's ambiance. The in the .rar is from Clone, and you need Daemon Tools Advanced in order to mount it properly to get past the game's detection.
1.) Extract from the .rar files. You will get a .mdf and .mds file totaling 6+ gigs.
2.) Download and install Daemon Tools Pro Advanced if you don't alrdy have it: http://rapidshare.com/files/66421142/DTP_v4.10.0218.rar 3.) Once you have Daemon Tools up and running, you can close the main window and then right click on the Daemon Tools system tray icon.
4.) Go up to Virtual / ROM and click Add Virtual IDE Drive.
5.) Go back to Virtual / ROM and click on the virtual drive you just crted, and the click mount . You can now browse to the mini and use that to trick the game into thinking the disc is in the drive.
Note: You can mount the actual in regular Daemon Tools and install it, but you need Advanced to make the Virtual IDE Drive. You may or may not need to enable all security emulation options. Right click on the system tray icon > Emulation > All Options On.
