DX11 —————————— 1. Download and extract into your “Total War Shogun 2? directory.
2. After extracting, make sure your “Total War Shogun 2\data” folder has this files.
3. IMPORTANT – Delete “Shogun2? folder loed in “C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\The Crtive Assembly\”. IF YOU DON’T SHOGUN2.EXE MAY CRASH IF YOU RUN IT.
4. IMPORTANT – Install/Update your DirectX,vcredist etc. included in “Total War Shogun 2\redist\” folder.
5. You can change your username in the game by editing the 3DMGAME.ini using notepad loed in “Total War Shogun 2\” folder.
6. Run the game. RANDOM FIXES
1. INSTALLATION GOT STUCK AT 98% MOUNT DISC-1 and open the installer in the FAIRLIGHT folder When it asks for DISC-2 you MUST lve DISC-1 mounted and click "next" on the installer The installer should say "cannot find .sid file do you want to srch manually? click "YES" UNMOUNT DISC-1 and MOUNT DISC-2 Click on the .sid file in DISC-2 Open your installation folder and click Shogun2 and play. 2. BLACK SCREEN Error. There are 3 Fixes - Most Probably your Sound Card Driver which needs to be updated. Change Compatibility to XP Update your Rltek Sound Card Driver.
