Troubleshooting: Black Screen The black screen occurs during startup of the game and during gameplay. This is usually caused by in-game refusing to load. The black screen when you start the game can only be bypassed after you follow the instructions with the No , then go to the Grandia 2 directory, enter the "visuals" folder and rename "vGA_LOGO" and "vubi" to something else.
That will get you to the start menu. From then on whenever you encounter a black screen press your F9 and your game will continue. This does make you skip in-game though, so if you must watch them then you can watch the in the "visuals" folder.
Visual Content Pack This is the visual content package I have crted. Due to the old c that was used when the game was relsed 8 yrs ago, the files were A LOT bigger than they should have been. I re-end them in standard avi format and it dropped the over 250mb visual file down to 50mb. This won't fix the problem, but it will reduce save you some space for a folder you're barely using anyway. I'm currently looking for a way to solve the problem. Just extract the rar to the "visuals" folder in your directory and let it overwrite.
